arning Green Globe certification has bunch of business spin-offs for the Novotel hotel brand, according to Paul Richardson, vice president of Accord Hospitality in New Zealand and Fiji.
There are obvious savings through more efficient use of resources. But Green Globe certification also provides an immediate recognition for green consumers, he said. “We are already noticing number of larger companies are choosing to stay with Novotel due to our Green Globe status.”
Novotel, he said, is the first hotel brand in the country to gain Green Globe status and is committed to continually developing its sustainable policy as well as fostering relationships with suppliers who have similar values
