Held on 10-11 May, this year’s annual conference looks at “Our place, our space – reshaping communities”. It examines how an organisation’s online and on-the-ground communications can get noticed when virtual communities are being created daily and target audiences join new communities of interest at similar rate of uptake.

Earlybird bookings close on Monday 16 April.

Conference highlights include talks with the comms people at the forefront of handling PR on the grounding of the MV Rena and those working on the Christchurch earthquakes. International speakers include Jim Macnamara on ‘The social organisation’, Pradip Thomas on ‘Communication for social change’ and Andy Ruddock on ‘Fan communities’.
