UpFront What does work-life balance mean to you?

It’s question that could be reverberating around workplaces over the next month or so as the Government’s work-life project seeks feedback on the topic from individuals and organisations around New Zealand.
To inspire debate, the Department of Labour has compiled 24-page discussion document that looks at the issue from various viewpoints ranging from youth to older folk and including business, communities and recreation, employees, families, Maori, Pacific people and small business.
Those wanting say can fill in response form with the discussion pack or via the project website at www.worklife.govt.nz. Once the information is gathered, findings will go to Government and interested organisations and form part of considerations as to what more can be done to support practices that lead to work-life balance.
