Recruitment Leader of the Year Announced

Innovative global technology and recruitment services company, Talent International, has won ‘Recruitment Leader of the Year’ at the 2014 SEEK Annual Recruitment Awards (SARAs).

The SARAs recognise the most accomplished leaders within the recruitment sector in New Zealand.  Submissions are anonymous and judged by a panel of esteemed professionals from the recruitment, professional services, media and education sectors.

Judges from the Canterbury Employers' Chamber of Commerce and The University of Auckland, amongst others, looked for evidence of the nominees’ influence and effectiveness as a leader within their own agency and across the broader recruitment sector.

In 2013, Talent NZ achieved ‘SARA Legend’ status for winning Best Medium IT Recruitment Agency for three years running and were recognised at last night’s awards for this accolade.

Talent International founder and managing director Richard Earl said: “I’m honoured to be recognised by the expert judges SEEK appointed to judge this awards programme. Talent’s vision is to shake up the recruitment industry and to lead the way in providing innovative services and products that exceed expectations. I am delighted that my leadership of the business and our amazing team at Talent has been acknowledged with this award.”

Richard Earl launched Talent International from his home in Perth in 1995 and since then he has grown the business into a global network with 15 offices across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and the UK

The win comes off the back of a successful year for Talent International with continued growth in revenue, a re-launch of the Talent brand globally and a highly-successful Talent Unleashed Awards program, which recognises and rewards emerging talent in the technology start-up sector.
