InTouch : Learn from the Best

Snowy Peak CEO Peri Drysdale has been confirmed as keynote speaker for the NZOQ learn-share-grow 2008 conference in Queenstown later this month.
Drysdale is among line-up of six high-profile keynote speakers attending the Queenstown event, including general manager of NZ Aluminium Smelters Paul Hemburrow and German director of Deutsche Post World Net Roland Jahnke.
Drysdale’s label, Untouched World, is global frontrunner in high-quality, ethical fashion, and her company is among only handful of organisations in the world to be accredited with the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (UNDESD) standard.
“Sustainable best-practice business takes us to the depths of things – we have to consider economic, social and environmental factors in all decision-making – and that challenges us all to think in different ways,” says Drysdale.
The two-day learn-share-grow conference will be NZOQ’s and Queenstown’s first ever carboNZero-certified conference that will walk the talk and lead by example on subjects of business quality, productivity and sustainability.
Full and day registrations are still available for those keen to learn from the world’s best and apply the most effective and proven practices in sustainability, quality and performance.
“The event represents unique opportunity for best practice- and sustainability-focused professionals to come together, network closely and learn from each other,” says NZOQ general manager Helen Baines.
