NZIM is again this year supporting $100,000 scholarship opportunity offered by Cranfield School of Management in the United Kingdom. The scholarship is available exclusively to New Zealander to attend the 2009/2010 full-time Cranfield MBA course. The one-year course starts in late September 2009.
The scholarship covers full tuition fees, travel costs, and $20,000 contribution towards living expenses, total value of around $100,000.
The award is open to New Zealander – citizen or permanent resident – who intends to return to work in New Zealand within reasonable time after completing the MBA.
Candidates must complete and submit their MBA application to Cranfield by 30 April 2009 and be provisionally accepted onto the course. Further information on the Cranfield MBA and the application process is available at www.som.cranfield.ac.uk/som/mba/mbaprogramme/index.asp. Candidates must also complete separate scholarship application which is essentially 1000-word essay on why they should receive the scholarship.
Short-listed applicants will be interviewed in Wellington or Auckland in June 2009. decision will be announced by the end of June 2009. The interview panel will include representative from NZIM.
