JUST GOOD BUSINESS BUZZ : Action – not rhetoric

Another coalition composed of research organisations, private business, trade unions and environmental organisations is also calling on G20 nations to accelerate transition to sustainable economy.
The Green Economy Coalition warns that G20 nations are failing to match rhetoric with action and instead of hastening economic transition are still promoting climate change through subsidies for fossil fuel production and consumption. Many of those nations have not included sufficient green investments in their overall stimulus packages and effectiveness of such strategies also risks being compromised by delays in fund allocation.
