Local CEOs would like to see some clear guidelines from Government on what is expected from industry in the area of climate change.
That’s according to survey of local leaders in public and private sectors undertaken by PricewaterhouseCoopers as part of the company’s global survey of CEOs. On the issue of climate change, PWC notes there was clear acknowledgement that climate change is an important business issue in today’s environment. However, they expressed concern at the level of uncertainty and lack of clarity around New Zealand climate change regulations. number of local organisations have already taken active steps to reduce their carbon emissions.
