Described as small, economical, and easy-to-use, the recently launched Eltron P210 card printer is designed to enable businesses to produce personalised cards from within the company rather than having to outsource it. Ian McKenzie, general manager at Comworth, says the recent emphasis on security has added to the popularity of ID cards and the demand for this kind of product has been high in New Zealand. “Businesses are increasingly weary of who has access to their building and of what is coming in and out.”
The Eltron P200 Series comprises two 300dpi models. The P205 model is monochrome (black only) printer that can print personalised plastic card in four seconds. The P210 model prints single-side, full-colour cards with edge-to-edge printing in less than 30 seconds.
