Colin McKinnon
The New Zealand Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (NZVCA) has appointed McKinnon as new executive director. Currently chief adviser at the Ministry of Economic Development (MED), he replaces Christopher Twiss, who is leaving the role after five years.

Jeremy Nicoll
The board of ING (NZ) has promoted Nicoll, most recently the company’s CFO, to managing director of its real estate division. Prior to joining ING nine years ago, Nicoll spent two years in London with Cazenove & Co. He started his career in Auckland with Coopers & Lybrand.

Peter Fredricson
Hanover Group has appointed Fredricson as its chief financial officer. An experienced senior CFO, his most recent role was CFO of Vector, where he led the acquisition of NGC Holdings, and the NZX listing of Vector.

Mark Olley, Steve Jardine, Samuel Tang
Recently formed LatitudeFX has made number of key appointments. Olley, who has 16 years of experience in the financial markets with senior positions at Citigroup NZ, Westpac, Commonwealth Bank and Fay Richwhite, has been appointed as CEO. Jardine has been appointed as sales executive manager and Tang is customer sales and service executive.

Louis Boulanger
Investment Research Group (IRG) has recruited Boulanger as an independent chairman of its investment committee. Boulanger has been an investment adviser to private and institutional clients since 2006, and is former chief executive of Mercer New Zealand. He is also chartered financial analyst (CFA) and founded the CFA of New Zealand in 2000, where he remains director and an active member.

Ian Falconer
Specialist data solutions provider Digiweb has appointed Falconer as general manager. He has over 18 years of experience in the technology sector including senior management positions with Gen-i and Telecom NZ.

Brendan Jarvis
Chrometoaster digital design agency has appointed Jarvis as general manager of its newly established Auckland office. gen-y digital native, Jarvis was previously based at the company’s Wellington office as head of client services, and has been identified as one of Victoria University’s top 40 graduates to watch under the age of 40.

Neil Cumming
Asia Web Direct founder Cumming has been appointed as director of Wotif.com Holdings following Wotif.com’s acquisition of Asia Web Direct (HK) in February.

Geoff Dangerfield
The New Zealand Transport Agency, which will bring together the functions of Land Transport NZ and Transit NZ to provide an integrated approach to transport planning, funding and delivery, has appointed Dangerfield as chief executive designate. He is expected to take up his position when the new agency starts operating on 1 July 2008.

Binu Paul, Stephen Stewart
Tyndall Investment Management has appointed Paul as head of institutional markets, with primary wholesale client management responsibilities. He joins from FundSource where he most recently held the role of general manager. Stewart, who has banking and investment background in Australia and New Zealand, has been appointed as head of product management.

Sonya Crosby
The Association of New Zealand Advertisers (ANZA) has unanimously elected Crosby, national manager of the New Zealand Post Mail Marketing Service, as its new president. member of the ANZA Council since 2006, Crosby steps into the shoes of departing president Alison Sykora, from Vodafone.

Douglas Webb
Specialist technology and regulatory law firm MGF Webb has appointed Webb, former telecommunications commissioner, as senior regulatory adviser. He has also served as member of the Commerce Commission and as managing counsel and deputy to the general counsel of The World Bank, Washington DC.
