The Department of Labour has launched new online tool to help employers and employees calculate leave entitlements. It aims to take out some of the confusion around arrangements for staff when it comes to statutory holidays, sickness and bereavement leave.
Small Business Minister Lianne Dalziel says the online tool “takes the hassle out of working out how much to pay employees who don’t have set days and hours of work and who have other complicated work arrangements”.
