While headlines tend to focus on workplace safety failures, there’s whole bunch of dedicated people putting lot of effort into preventing injury and ill health at work. Their initiatives will be celebrated in the NZ Workplace Health and Safety Awards 2006 which are organised by Safeguard magazine with support from the Department of Labour.
Entries close March 6 and winners will be announced at the awards dinner on April 5 during Worksafe Expo – two-day exhibition of health and safety products and services at the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Manukau.
