Graham Carter is to lead the carboNZero programme in New Zealand as it new chief executive. New Zealander, he was most recently based in Canada as the co-founder and chief executive of Axia Software Corporation, company that provides tools to help organisations maximise the efficiency of their capital investment. Before that he co-founded and was chief operating officer of Acclaro Management Corporation, Canadian company providing project management expertise for power utilities.
The carboNZero programme, which offers world-class greenhouse gas certification schemes, was previously business unit of Landcare Research, but is transforming into standalone corporate business.
Alongside Carter new board of directors has been elected, with independent director Alastair Lawrence as its chair. Other members are Rob Fenwick, Jo Brosnahan and Richard Gordon.
