Global wealth management platform, FNZ, has appointed Jeremy Graham as Chief Executive Officer of New Zealand, and Aroha Steele as the country’s Chief Operating Officer.
The company says in a statement that Graham brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of FNZ, having joined the business in 2007. Most recently, he was Global Head of Talent, heading talent acquisition and development across all FNZ offices worldwide.
It notes that between 2014 and 2021, he drove the growth of the FNZ’s software engineering capabilities, overseeing teams that have delivered multiple platforms across both European and Asia Pacific markets.
Graham takes on the role from interim New Zealand CEO Scott Webster, who will continue in his role as CEO, FNZ Securities.
Steele joined FNZ in 2018 and has held leadership roles across the business including Head of Production Support APAC and Head of Solution Centre Australia/New Zealand.
The company says that since being founded in Wellington in 2003, it has “grown to become one of the largest wealth management platforms in the world”.
From 2018 to 2023, it has grown assets under administration more than seven-fold from NZ$350 billion to over NZ$2.5 trillion and it employs around 5,000 people globally. It partners with over 650 financial institutions and 12,000 wealth managers.
In New Zealand, FNZ employs around 500 people across offices in Wellington and Auckland. The company also recently launched an accreditation programme, the FNZ Academy, for graduates and colleagues in technical and delivery roles in the region.
