The Deloitte Top 200 Awards were established in 1990 and are held annually to recognise and applaud outstanding individual and management team performances among New Zealand’s largest companies and trading organisations.

More than 1000 people attended the Deloitte Top 200 Awards event at the Vector Arena on Thursday the 27^th November to celebrate business excellence.

The Deloitte Top 200 winners were :

Company of the Year: Air New Zealand

Executive of the Year: Simon Challies, Ryman Healthcare

Chairperson of the Year: Tony Carter, Air New Zealand

Excellence in Governance: Fletcher Building

Best Growth Strategy: Delegat Group

Most Improved Performance: Tourism Holdings

Diversity Leadership: Bank of New Zealand

Young Executive of the Year: Michael Lewis, NZ Post

Visionary Leader: Bruce Plested, Mainfreight
