In touch : Invercargill manager wins UK scholarship

A scholarship worth total of $100,000 to study for an MBA at Cranfield School of Management in the UK has been awarded to 34-year-old manager from insurance company AMI. Adrian Wood is the first recipient of the Cranfield New Zealand Alumni Scholarship – which is aimed at people with “real life” work experience who want to develop their management and career potential rather than pursue academic research. Wood has been with AMI since graduating and is currently the area manager at Invercargill. This month he begins his studies at Cranfield – rated seventh in the UK amongst one-year MBA programmes by the Financial Times.
