New Zealand owned IT services company CodeBlue has appointed former Palmerston North City Council information manager Brent White as general manager, Wellington, responsible for leading CodeBlue’s team in the lower North Island. White has also held senior management roles at Fujitsu, Gen-i and Computerland New Zealand.

Xero has appointed Stuart McLean to the new role of chief revenue officer overseeing the global sales and marketing teams. McLean moves to Xero from Google in Sydney where he has been head of enterprise Australia New Zealand, driving cloud applications business for products such as Google Apps.

Full service public relations agency Wright Communications has added dedicated writer to its team of communications professionals. She is Dita De Boni whose former roles include editing Telecom’s internal magazine and an agri-business publication, reporting and producing for TVNZ and writing for range of sections at the NZ Herald.

First Assistance, New Zealand’s leading emergency assistance company, has recently appointed staff to two newly created senior roles, result of the company’s growth over the last year and business development plans. Alan Roberts and Graham Denyer (pictured left) will take up key roles as operations director and chief medical officer respectively.

Rachel Trafford has been appointed to the newly created role of digital advertising sales manager at GrabOne. Trafford’s background is in digital sales. Most recently she was New Zealand country manager for Digital Network Sales.

New Zealand-owned email security company SMX has appointed former Digital Mobile business relationship manager Phouthavanh Anothai to the newly created position of senior partner manager. Based in Wellington, Vanh Anothai is responsible for maintaining relationships with SMX’s existing tier one partners and customers in New Zealand.

Experiential, hospitality and events agency the Orange Group has appointed Andrew Frost as group finance manager. Previously with Competenz, most recently as general manager of finance and corporate services, Frost has also held management roles at Flight Centre.

Transport technology and services company EROAD has appointed Franck Ridon to the newly created position of general manager New Zealand. Ridon, who has 16 years’ experience in the information and technology industry joins EROAD from Hoist Consulting where he was managing partner.

Brent Pownall has joined Pacific Edge Diagnostics NZ in Dunedin and will lead the commercial activity of Pacific Edge’s innovative and non-invasive bladder cancer diagnostic system Cxbladder in New Zealand and Australia. Pownall was formerly with MP Biomedicals as New Zealand sales director and country manager.

A new team is on board at Queenstown-based public relations company Southern PR, bringing depth of across-the-board experience to range of businesses throughout New Zealand. They include account managers Naomi Lindsay, Frederique Gulcher-Ingram, and office manager Raquelle Bergsma.

Paymark has announced the appointment of two new executives. Dhaya Sivakumar joins as chief information officer bringing wealth of ICT experience to the business. Chris Hammond has been promoted to the the new executive role of head of business operations.
