The New Zealand Institute of Management has appointed Glenys Talivai (née Powell), the winner of last year’s Top 200 Companies NZIM/Eagle Technology Young Executive of the Year Award, to its board. Talivai is general manager – sales and marketing for Medical Assurance Society (MAS). She is responsible for all aspects of MAS sales, marketing, and product development strategies and activities.
Before joining MAS, Talivai was head of business development for ANZ Retail where she was responsible for driving the execution of the ANZ branch distribution strategic and planning agenda.
Talivai fills the vacant Wellington director role on the NZIM board.

Project Plus has named David Peddie as practice manager – consulting and resourcing. He was previously at the Commerce Commission and has worked at firms including BT in the UK and other consultancies in both Australia and New Zealand.

Abby Leota is the recently promoted training and certification manager at Project Plus. She brings breadth of experience from her time at Intergen managing development resources and her training work building NGO capability internationally. M
