Inbox: Returning to work after mental illness

Mental illness affects one in five New Zealanders in any given year, says the Mental Health Foundation, and many of them are employees. The foundation has put together comprehensive advice on what employees and employers can do to support the process of returning to work after mental illness.
Its publication Return to Work includes information on legal rights, stress and support in the workplace, practical tips for employers and employees and managing the return to work. It also includes case studies.
