Sheffield reveals CEO remuneration deals

CEOs of public sector organisations now earn more than their counterparts in the private sector, according to Sheffield’s 2007 Chief Executive Survey. The report – the latest in series stretching back almost 20 years – reveals median total salary package for public sector CEO of $255,000 for last year. This outperforms the median $248,291 package for private sector CEOs. Local CEOs continued to lag the world when it comes to performance pay.
