In Touch: Skates on for Fast 50

Despite challenging economic times, there are always new and established companies performing fantastically in their particular niche – and it’s time to celebrate those enjoying the fastest growth.
The ninth 2009 Deloitte Fast 50 is now open for entries and although the expectation for recent growth rates “might not be as stellar” as in years past, there are some incredible fast-growth stories to be uncovered, says Deloitte partner and Fast 50 programme leader Matt McKendry. He notes that companies which have previously made the list experience surge of interest from customers and investors alike, and says any business with growth of over 20 percent should consider entering.
Previous number-one ranked companies include Watson & Son (2008), Energy Mad (2008), HRV (2006), 42 Below (2005), Trade Me (2004), Prolificx (2003), Marshal Software (2002) and TelstraSaturn (2001).
