IN TOUCH: Who can you trust?

The world of business doesn’t engender lot of trust amongst New Zealanders but standouts, according to recent survey, include The Warehouse and Kiwibank – and it seems the vast majority of Kiwis still have faith in the banking system.
These findings are contained in the inaugural Attitude New Zealand report produced by market research company Perceptive and containing input from 1000 respondents on bunch of aspects of local life – including what stresses them, favourite brands and even the country’s clean, green image.
Although 71 percent admitted to not understanding “sustainability”, they picked Meridian Energy, Fonterra and The Warehouse as three companies leading sustainable thinking. Warehouse founder Stephen Tindall also emerged as the most inspiring business leader (12 percent), followed by economist Gareth Morgan and property developer Bob Jones (each five percent).
