Kiwi companies eyeing the Japanese market now have place to call their own in Tokyo’s central business district. Officially opened last month, the New Zealand Business Centre has been set up by New Zealand Trade & Enterprise as part of the Government’s international Beachheads programme.
Similar centres are already operating in the United Kingdom, United States, Singapore and Dubai.
The Tokyo centre includes individual office space for six New Zealand companies, NZTE’s Tokyo satellite office and hot desk facility that is available for use by New Zealand companies visiting Japan on business.
Cedenco Foods, Maximum Availability, Meat & Wool New Zealand, Sunrise Coast New Zealand and New Zealand Berryfruit Group have already signed up to the Tokyo Beachhead initiative.
