GITR believes that one of the key reasons why only 25 percent of IT projects succeed is that the New Zealand IT industry has no accreditation or recognised industry body to set best practice standards that IT professionals must adhere to.

GITR says the IT profession was one of the last professions to put in place an independent certification programme.

GITR is joining forces with The Institute of IT Professionals (IITP) www.iitp.org.nz to host complimentary evening seminar on “IT Certified Professional (ITCP): What it is and why it matters” on Thursday, 26 July 2012. Click here for more information.
