For this effort, Comvita picked up both the Trailblazer (sponsored by IAG) and the People’s Choice (Westpac) awards at the recent Westpac National Sustainable Business Awards.
Other winners were: Fonterra Tirau for developing treatment process that results in cleaner wastewater; web designer absolutely.co.nz for making sustainability integral to its entire business; and Hamilton YWCA which has significantly reduced its environmental footprint.
