New aluminium folding keyboard for PDAs
Logitech has released lightweight, pocket-sized aluminium folding keyboard designed for Palm handhelds. The ultra-slim TypeAway Keyboard offers full key layout and tactile response that touch typists expect, yet is barely half the size and weight of the leading folding PDA keyboard on the market.
The keys of the TypeAway keyboard feature the same ‘scissor’ technology used in notebook PCs, to give the product low-profile typing plane. Its advanced navigation keys provide quick access to favourite handheld applications.
The TypeAway keyboard is compatible with Palm OS 4.1 and Palm OS 4.0 for the Palm m125, Palm m500, Palm m505, Palm m515 and future handhelds with Palm’s Universal Connector. The Logitech software to configure the Palm for the keyboard is compatible with Windows NT, 95, 98, 2000, Me and XP. The application is also compatible with Macintosh OS.
