That’s according to new Robert Walters Employer Insights Survey which also notes only 18% of recruiters now take over six weeks to fill role.

Robert Walters New Zealand MD Richard Manthel says just over 82% of survey respondents had hired new staff recently.

He says local candidates still can’t fill certain pockets of demand and many companies are looking for talent offshore.

According to the survey, just over 36% of survey respondents said they were excited about the skills that candidates with international experience could offer.
