Inappropriate language was one of seven workplace issues explored in the research, along with bullying, verbal harassment, inappropriate emails, discrimination, racism and sexual harassment.

Bullying was the second most prominent concern from the employee perspective and third most prominent amongst managers and leaders behind verbal harassment.

LMA has reported its findings in its latest L.E.A.D. (Leadership, Employment and Direction) report.
