Bill Wilson
Wellington-based QC Bill Wilson has been appointed chairman of Visa New Zealand. former partner in Bell Gully where he provided advice to the New Zealand Bankers’ Association, Wilson has practised extensively in the banking field since being appointed QC in 1996. He is also former director of Air New Zealand. Wilson succeeds the Bank of New Zealand’s Pradeep Roy.

Chris Due, Gary Lee
A planned restructure of its board to ensure it has the capabilities to fulfil its strategic direction and business goals for the next five years sees Chris Due appointed as chairman of Media Technology Group. He replaces outgoing chairman Phil Norman.
Also appointed as new non-executive, independent Australian director is Melbourne-based Gary Lee, former group manager of Australia Post’s domestic and international letters business.

David Pilkington
ZESPRI Group has appointed professional director David Pilkington to its board. He joins the Group after 28 years in senior management positions with Fonterra, his role when he left in May 2004 being managing director of New Zealand Milk. His current directorships include publicly listed Restaurant Brands, Ballance Agri-Nutrients, Ruapehu Alpine Lifts, and he is chair of the new pipfruit breeding company Prevar. Pilkington replaces Alistair Betts who passed away in December 2004.

James Ogden
Capital Properties New Zealand has appointed Wellington-based financial and business consultant James Ogden as an additional company director. His current directorships include New Zealand Post, Kiwibank, Agriquality and Australasian Hotel Holdings.

Mark Loveys, John Quirk
Enprise Solutions chief executive Mark Loveys has taken up the position of chairman of the board. Replacing him as chief executive is Neil Bell.
John Quirk, director of Howard & Company, joins the Enprise board as non-executive director. He is former general manager at Digital Equipment Corporation, CEO of the UK-owned IT and management consulting company Mi Services Group, and CEO of the PC reseller and network company Southmark Computers
