He was drawing on Randstad’s recent 532 surveys in New Zealand (372 employers and 160 employees), the results of which have been published in the Randstad World of Work Report 2011/2012.
“Almost 80 percent of people we asked agreed that technology will make the remote workforce reality in the near future,” he said.
“And 74 percent reckon distrust will continue to grow unless organisations move to more transparent business practices… Over half of the respondents believe the top attribute of successful leaders is the ability to motivate and inspire their teams.”
According to the World of Work Report, productivity, performance and skills will be top of mind over the next 12 months.
