Professionals and knowledge workers are obvious candidates to become “portfolio workers”. So are those who make or fix things, the traditional fixers and makers like plumbers and builders but now also the new fixers; the agents, brokers, conference organisers, house finders and sellers, cooks, drivers, health specialists, child and house and dog minders.
