Good news for the tourism industry – New Zealand ranks as the top country for both natural beauty and outdoor activities. That’s according to the second annual Country Brand Index 2006 developed by Future Brand and released at last month’s World Travel Market expo.
Australia was nominated top overall country brand followed by the United States (voted as best to do business) and Italy (also best for nightlife/dining). New Zealand’s overall ranking was eighth. Best for safety is Canada and best value for money is Thailand.
