A shopping trolley designed to entertain kids, an internet-based system designed to integrate emergency calls, an automated optimiser for mobile phone games or applications, and quick access to high quality satellite images – all have one thing in common.
They’re winning examples of what Kiwi companies can achieve on the technology front and for that they’ve all received technology commendations from the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology.
The winners – Cabco Group for the trolley, Cyberglue Software for the integrated emergency notification system, Innaworks Development for the optimiser, and Terralink International for the satellite images – were given trophies at last month’s NZTE Export Awards and are now entitled to use mark of excellence logo to promote their products.
