With cost per page of 2.4 cents (toner cost divided by the yield, less GST), Kyocera Mita’s new FS-1010 Ecosys laser printer represents good value for money. The printer is no slug either with 14ppm output and first page print speed of 12 seconds.
A 200MHz processor makes it one of the most powerful entry-level lasers on the market, designed to handle even the most complex print jobs.
With the optional network card fitted, the cartridge-free FS-1010 can be remotely monitored via KM-NET. This allows users to access remote operation panel that has all the functionality usually found on the printer’s front panel. The 3D panel notifies users when toner is low or when paper cassettes are empty. The software also allows users to manage other manufacturers’ printers on the network.
