Toy maker Mattel has appointed New Zealander Fenton as its new general manager, new business, Asia Pacific. He is currently general manager of the New Zealand operation.

Auckland engineer Gibson has been elected president of IPENZ (the institution of professional engineers New Zealand) succeeding Sir Ron Carter. He is winner of several structural timber design awards and former president of the structural engineered timber manufacturers of New Zealand.

ASB Bank has appointed McAllister as new chief manager, human resources. He joins ASB after five years as HR manager at CLEAR Communications.

The Auckland War Memorial Museum has made three managerial appointments. Davidson is the new marketing and communications manager, Leadley is human resources manager, and Crawford is manager of sales, tourism and events.
