Sharon Bennett
Prominent tax, business and legal publisher, CCH New Zealand, has appointed Bennett as publishing director. For the last two years she was senior tax analyst and head of the company’s tax information team. During that time she was contributing editor to number of publications including CCH’s flagship annual book, The New Zealand Master Tax Guide. Bennett takes over from outgoing managing director Bruce Murphy, who returns to his native Sydney after three years at CCH New Zealand to become chief technology officer for the Wolters Kluwer Asia-Pacific region.

Lee Treadaway
Tax analyst Treadaway has been appointed publisher of CHH New Zealand’s newly formed accountants and financial managers group. The new position reflects CCH’s increasing focus on customer groups rather than product or subject areas. She joined CCH in 1995 as tax analyst, specialising in GST. Her expertise was recently utilised by CCH Australia, where she was seconded as an adviser when GST was introduced.

Jane Strange
CCH also appointed Strange as sales and marketing manager. She joined Simpson and Grierson in private practice for three years. She then gained broad experience in small suburban law firm where she practised litigation, family and employment law. Strange joined CCH as an account manager in early 1997. In 2000 she took over the overall management of CCH’s customer services and call-centre, which was combined to form the marketing services group. Earlier this year she also took responsibility for CCH’s sales team.

Murray has joined ROCOM Wireless’ corporate division as mobile computing specialist.
