The Auckland Museum Trust Board has renewed Dr Wilson’s contract as director of Auckland Museum for further four years.

John Novak, Luke Blincoe, Michael Thomas
Novak, long-time 3M NZ employee has moved to the newly created position of general manager, operations and corporate strategy. Blincoe has replaced Paul Doyle as 3M NZ’s general manager, consumer and office markets group. He was previously marketing manager, consumer and office markets group. Thomas has taken on new role as manufacturing and technical director, replacing Alan Williams.

Bridget Abernethy
Abernethy has been appointed executive director of Project Crimson, leading conservation partnership between Carter Holt Harvey and the Department of Conservation.

Greg Pullen
Dr Pullen has been appointed general manager, technology development at Auckland UniServices. He was previously with Sydney-based biotech company Peptech.

Odette Stevenson
Hyatt Regency Auckland has appointed Stevenson as sales manager, conferencing. Her focus will be on managing the hotel’s newly opened conference and banquet facilities.

Mike Smith
Smith is the new general manager of Clearwater, the hotel and golf resort near Christchurch.

David Jones
Robert Half International has appointed Jones, who transfers from the recruitment company’s UK office, as its new MD responsible for operations across New Zealand and Australia.

Andrew Ferrier
Fonterra Cooperative Group has appointed Ferrier as its new chief executive officer, replacing the group’s inaugural CEO Craig Norgate. Ferrier, Canadian, takes up his position in September.

Prominent Christchurch business people with human resource and corporate governance experience are the key senior staff and directors of Brannigans Human Capital, newly formed human resources consultancy. Murray is the consultancy’s chief executive.

Dave Marriott
Infrastructure maintenance company Transfield Services has appointed Marriott, previously principal adviser for the Crown Company Monitoring Advisory Unit, as its business development manager.

Steve Kane
After four years in the UK, Kane returns to Publicis Drum to take over as general manager. He replaces Jody Gill who is to pursue freelance career in media and PR.
