Business decision makers are more confident than the general population about retaining their jobs in the next 12 months, according to recent Horizon Research poll. Just under 60 percent think they will keep their current job compared with 40.5 percent of employed people aged 18+.
Five percent of business decision makers are looking to go overseas to work, temporarily or permanently, in the next 12 months. Meanwhile, 13 percent of them say they are looking to change their jobs in the next 12 months. Six percent think they will lose their job in the next 12 months. This is higher than the population 18+ years (four percent)
Among the population as whole, people with no, or only school, qualifications are least confident about keeping their jobs.
