It’s ok to make the same mistake twice, or more

The myth is: you can make mistakes provided you learn from them and don’t make the same mistake twice.
The reality is: everyone loves winner. In business as in life, it’s okay to make the same mistakes twice, provided your successes overcome your failures.
If those successes are significant and the mistakes trivial, no-one cares if you make the same mistake dozen times. But be warned, celebrity status in business is moving target. If the frequency of your successes tapers off, those once-trivial mistakes will become more irritating and outweigh the successes. Chances are you’ll quickly move from success story to irritant and eventually has-been.
The lesson is: don’t waste time on trivial mistakes. Focus on the breakthroughs.
